What is Lactic Acid Bacteria?

Lactic acid bacteria (LAB) are beneficial microorganisms commonly used in fermented foods such as

yogurt, cheese, sauerkraut, olives, sourdough bread, wine, beer, and cider. These microbes naturally

break down sugars and produce beneficial compounds that support biological processes in both food

fermentation and soil ecosystems.

When lactic acid bacteria metabolize sugars, they produce compounds including hexanoate,

a short-chain fatty acid. Plants use hexanoate as a building block for producing natural aroma and pigment compounds. These compounds directly influence aroma, flavor and overall plant performance.

How to Use FROSTEZE LAB

FROSTEZE LAB products are easy to apply:

Soil Drench:
Add 1.5 tsp (8 ml) per gallon (3.8 L) of unchlorinated water.

Foliar Spray:
Mix 1 fl oz (30 ml) per gallon (3.8 L) of unchlorinated water and spray directly onto plants.

Apply during early stages of plant growth and throughout development to maintain balanced soil biology.

Important Application Tips
Avoid using chemical pesticides or fertilizers that may harm beneficial microbes
Apply in the evening or low-light conditions for best results
Avoid excessive soil disturbance to protect microbial populations
Store refrigerated to maintain microbial activity

FROSTEZE LAB is a living liquid containing active microorganisms. Mild bubbling and a sweet-sour aroma

are normal signs of healthy activity. If an unpleasant odor develops, discard the product.

If refrigeration is not available, you can stabilize the culture by adding equal parts molasses or brown sugar.

This provides food for beneficial microbes until application.
